TAT (Tapas Acupressure Technique) is an elegantly simple way to attain inner peace, relaxation, more vibrant health and empowerment. TAT can help end stress, especially traumatic stress; free a person from allergic reactions; gain self-confidence and a positive outlook on life. TAT affects our emotional attachment to issues in our lives. Because our emotions affect our physical bodies, it is possible to dramatically affect your physical health using TAT. Tapas Fleming, a Licensed Acupuncturist, developed TAT in 1993. Since then, tens of thousands of people have used TAT for hundreds of thousands of problems.
There is no need to remove your clothing for a TAT session. You will sit or lie comfortably (whichever you prefer) and either you or I will touch certain acupressure points on your head and face. While touching these points, the I will guide you through a series of statements on which to focus your thoughts. Each statement takes about one minute for most people. You will not have to re-live the trauma or pain of past incidents to heal them with TAT. After going through the statements once, the issue you're working on should clear, or become free of emotional attachment. Occasionally a connected issue arises and the process is repeated in a shorter form to clear that issue. You may be somewhat tired after a TAT session, but a good night's sleep will restore you. You should drink plenty of water - at least 48 ounces - after a TAT session. TAT moves a lot of energy around, which has a very powerful effect on our bodies. After being guided through TAT a few times, you will probably find that you'd like to do it on your own. It is simple, once learned, and can be done on your own anywhere and anytime.
